Court cards illustrate luxurious-looking characters of the Tsarist period.
Reverse: Reddish-brown diamond pattern on white background, without blood.

No jokers.
Small indices, letter height 5 mm. accompanied by the symbol of the suit.
The figures have a framing which is a thin line in the colour of the reverse 3 mm from the edge of the card. The framing is interrupted by the indexes and suit symbols.
The aces represent golden shields accompanied by birds, hunting weapons, etc. On the ace of diamonds a large red seal under the shield with inscriptions in Cyrillic.
Court cards: the kings are bearded Tsars in luxurious clothes. The ladies are luxuriously dressed women with complicated hats. The Bubes or Valets are beardless, moustachioed men holding arrows, spears and, the one with diamonds, a falcon.
The symbols on the clubs are slender, finely drawn, in a style that is more French than international or English.
